Mental ABC’s of Pitching

The ABC's Of Baseball

The ABC's of Baseball

Recently, it dawned on me that while you workout your body and mind at practice, unfortunately the majority is spent working on your body.

Whether that is working on your pitching mechanic, better base running or just overall conditioning, practice is the best time to work on your physical game. I wanted to make a reference for the second, and sometimes more important part of your game, The Mental aspects.

This series is going to cover the ABC’s of Mental Toughness. And just so you know, just because it says Pitching in the title, these principles will apply to all aspects of your game.

Some of the entries are going to be shorter than others. These topics won’t need the same amount of elaboration as others.

This series is meant to help a pitcher, or player, observe, establish and maintain the advantage that they have in their game.

Please comment below letting me know any particular topics you want to make sure I cover! I’m excited about this series since it will essentially become a flagship series for BadHop!
